Mini Bio:
Although I was born in Louisville, KY. I spent my early childhood years in West Point, KY. It was on the banks of the Ohio, that I learned that sand and mud could be transformed into other forms, the awakening and perhaps acknowledging my creativity.
 
Education:
Primarily self-taught I still realized the need for more art related training. I therefore attended:

I served on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Watercolor Society for eight years three of which I served as President. I am now an honorary lifetime member and a Signature Artist.
I am also a member of the Central Kentucky Art Guild, based on Elizabethtown, KY. A member of the Buillitt County Arts Council in Shepherdsville, KY. And the Kentucky Watercolor Society. My work can be seen at the Salt Box Gallery, 395 Paroquet Springs in Shepherdsville KY, and the KY. Watercolor Society Co-op Gallery at The Mellwood Center in Lousville, KY.

Additionally, I have won numerous awards ranging from first to Honorable Mention.
 
I taught art in my private studio for twenty plus years. I held both classes and private sessions. My students ranged from seven to seventy. Many of my young students went on to become art teachers themselves. This alone made it all worthwhile.
