Biography - Carole Jackson Powell

 

Carole is a native Kentuckian and lives in bullitt County.  She majored in Art at Kentucky Wesleyan College, Louisville School of Art and Schrodt Gallery.  She also studied decorating and design at Bellarmine University, Louisville, Ky.

 

Carole has participated in several art shows and is consistentlhy commissioned to create paintings and murals.  In 2000, Carole began working full time as a freelance artist and muralist.  Her work can be seen in restaurants, hospitals, doctor's offices, churches and private homes. 

Carole is active in her community and her juried artwork is being sold at the Saltbox Gallery and Gift Shoppe at Paroquet Springs Conference Center, Shepherdsville, Ky., "Where Dreams Come True" Gift Shoppe in Glendale, Ky., Kentucky Woman Gift Shoppe and Gallery in Middletown, Ky., and Main Street Market, Mt. Washington, Ky.
