They have all been adapted for school age children by Bonnia Cook Fouts.

 

Brian, Lori, Evan and Ian Kerr will perform a vocal presentation as we transition from the children to the adults.

Electric Roses by David Howard - melodrama - domestic abuse - Sara is leaving Russ who is imprisoned for having hurt her.
Body Talk by Tanya Palmer - narrative drama - coming of age - three woman  who each speak of the body and its relevance to her life as a whole and individually.
Heads by Jon Jory - drama -  three young girls who live in a college dorm discuss going out with a rich but classic nerdy type young man.
Broken Hearts by Kevin R. McLeod- drama - life after death, organ donors - Diane is having a heart transplant and speaks to those in the beyond.
Seeing the Light  by  Robert McKay- melodrama - are we prepared for disaster? and if we are prepared, are we ready to act when we stare disaster in the face?
1st Floor, 2nd Floor  by Olivia Arieti- comedy - a newly married couple discuss their living plans and their honeymoon.
The Three Little Cribs - a turn about tale about The Three Little Pigs
Once Upon a Futon - a turn about tale about The Princess and The Pea
Gifts from the Heart - an adaptation based on The Gift of the Magi by O'Henry. It is about the true spirit of giving - giving of one self.

Finals were held at the Mt Washington Fall Festival

            We would like to thank the Salt River Masonic Lodge and the City of Mt. Washington for the excellent job they did on the First Annual Mt. Washington Fall Festival.  Those of us involved in the First Annual Bullitt County Vocalist of the Year Contest would especially like to thank them for the wonderful job they did of preparing the stage for the contest and a tent covering for the judges.  A special thanks to Judy Nevitt , Barbara Colyer, and Charlie Gruber for organizing the contest and to the judges for donating their time to make this contest a success: Jeff Woods, Judy Nevitt, Barbara Colyer, Amy Parker Cuenca, Jennifer Reid Cornell, and Miranda Kaye.  Thanks to the sponsors: All Occasion Florist, Fiesta Mexican Restaurant, Pickles Corner Store, Hester Family Fitness Center, Wild Hairz Salon, Country Cabin, Pack n’Ship, Judt Nevitt, Rejoice Ministries, Kart Country, Club Fitness, Great Clips, Fantastic Sams, Tumbleweed, JC Salon, Valu Market, Kroger, Peoples Bank of Bullitt County, and First Federal Savings Bank.  Congratulations to the teen winner, Jesse Yeast, and the adult winner, Chris Tomes.  Thanks to Mt.
